THE SETTING AND CHARACTERS - VIKING Beta Series Starship, is commanded by teenage Robert 'Rollo' Stanger. He with Ensignia Attalipto Gazzara, Girda Sawallah, a new arriver called Scarlet, and an android named ViKa, pilot the VIKING - It's the last surviving starship of the 'old earth' Federation Fleet. Nobody knows where Old Earth is anymore. Billions of HuMaNy are trapped in alternate realities by the DAMIN RACE. The VIKINGS are on a mission to help the last surviving outposts of HuMaNy, avoid being caught by the DAMIN, and trying to restore more HuMaNy back from the alternates. Meanwhile, the VIKINGS are also being pursued by the awful mechanotical race called THE SCABBYS.

BOOK ONE - THE DAMIN ZONE, is a cracking yarn. The character of Scarlet was shouting at me all the way through writing it. She said - "David - this is my series and I want a bigger part." I persuaded Scarlet to wait a book or two then gave her what she wanted. I love Scarlet. I also love ViKa the android and hope that she will eventually find her vagina. The ethereal Damin, and the awful Scabbys, and the HuMaNy trapped in alternate realities, make it fascinating.

BOOK TWO - THE REVENGE OF RAMA LASSA was a big surprise. As I was writing it I couldn't wait to find out what happened next.  Ex DAMIN Rama Lassa, was turned into a monster by being exiled in the Nothingness. The idea of Scientist Lula Nubitia, from the Earth-like planet Yazparta, was one that fascinated me too - genius - gorgeous - nasty. Lula Nubitia is by no means finished with. I would like to meet her one day, assuming I am carrying a gun at the time.

BOOK THREE - THE SCABBY SHUNT REBOOT, takes the series to a different dimension, literally and metaphorically. The Miners of RAMOS12, are once again in trouble, despite best efforts of their leader, BAMBRO SKILLTESSAN (Ba-Skill the Miner). King Laconicus VIII, and the Yazpartans, make an amazing discovery about their past, thanks to their Sacred Scrolls, and the VIKINGS. Then a terraformed planet is threatened by a NADIR DOOMSDAY DEVICE.

BOOK FOUR - GONE WITH THE GALACTIC WIND. There is a clue in the title and my comments above. I can't say much more because it would be a massive spoiler.

BOOK FIVE - ANOTHER MIRIAMA MATRIX. As I write this website, I am also still writing book five. This concludes THE VIKING STARSHIP SERIES ONE. The mathematical MIRIAMA MATRIX models, are giving answers we just don't expect.
